How to use the peptide dosage calculator
Start with the information on your label
The peptide calculator connects three quantities: peptide mass, solution volume, and concentration. Start with total vial mass and final solution volume, or select Known concentration if your label already gives mg/mL or mcg/mL. The peptide dosage calculator needs the actual numerical value and its unit; a product name alone cannot establish concentration.
Enter a target and review the result
Enter an amount you already know, then review the resulting mL and U-100 markings. The peptide calculator also supports the opposite direction when you know the volume. Before saving, check the selected mode, equipment capacity, input units, and any warnings. A peptide dosage calculator translates supplied information; it does not choose a treatment.
Peptide calculator methodology: concentration, volume, and markings
Calculate concentration before volume
The peptide dosage calculator first divides total mass by final solution volume. Concentration describes how much peptide each milliliter contains. More volume with the same mass produces a lower concentration, so the same target amount requires a larger draw. The peptide calculator keeps these quantities separate to make the relationship easier to check.
Concentration (mg/mL) = total mass (mg) ÷ final volume (mL)
Convert a known amount to a draw volume
Next, the peptide dosage calculator divides target mass by concentration. Both mass values must use matching units. Multiplying the resulting milliliters by 100 gives U-100 markings. The peptide calculator displays the conversion alongside the result so you can compare the arithmetic with your original inputs.
Draw volume (mL) = target mass (mg) ÷ concentration (mg/mL)
U-100 markings = draw volume (mL) × 100
Peptide dosage calculator example: 5 mg in 2 mL
Follow one calculation from start to finish
Enter a hypothetical 5 mg vial and 2 mL final volume into the peptide calculator. Concentration is 2.5 mg/mL. For an independently supplied target of 250 mcg, first convert to 0.25 mg. The peptide dosage calculator then gives 0.1 mL, corresponding to 10 U-100 markings. These numbers demonstrate arithmetic, not a suggested dose.
Check the result in reverse
Multiply 0.1 mL by 2.5 mg/mL to recover 0.25 mg. This check explains why the peptide calculator needs concentration before it can interpret markings. With a different concentration, the same 10 markings represent a different mass. A peptide dosage calculator result belongs to the exact inputs shown with it.
Peptide calculator units: mg, mcg, mL, and U-100
Mass and volume measure different things
One milligram equals 1,000 micrograms. The peptide dosage calculator converts between mg and mcg while preserving the amount. Milliliters measure volume, so converting mass into mL also requires concentration. Keep decimal points and unit labels together when copying information into the peptide calculator; 250 mcg and 250 mg are very different quantities.
Capacity is separate from the marking scale
On a U-100 scale, one marking unit represents 0.01 mL. The peptide calculator supports 0.3, 0.5, and 1 mL capacities, corresponding to 30, 50, and 100 units. The peptide dosage calculator does not convert biological activity units (IU), U-40 scales, or injection pen clicks. There is no universal IU-to-peptide-mass conversion.
Use the peptide dosage calculator for volume to dose
Work from a known volume or marking
Choose Volume to dose when your starting point is mL or U-100 markings. The peptide calculator converts markings to milliliters first, then multiplies by concentration. This reverse calculation answers how much mass a stated volume contains. The peptide dosage calculator cannot infer concentration from syringe capacity or from the marking number alone.
Amount (mg) = draw volume (mL) × concentration (mg/mL)
Known concentration mode bypasses the vial calculation. Enter the label concentration directly into the peptide calculator, checking whether its unit is mg/mL or mcg/mL. Without total vial mass, the peptide dosage calculator cannot determine the number of complete portions available from that vial.
Reading a peptide calculator result accurately
Distinguish calculation precision from measurable volume
The peptide dosage calculator uses decimal arithmetic with 40 significant digits; displayed values may be rounded for readability. A mathematically valid result can fall between physical markings. Use the peptide calculator marking comparison to inspect nearby amounts and percentage differences. It preserves your target and does not recommend rounding to either neighboring line.
Check final volume and solution assumptions
The peptide calculator assumes a uniform solution and uses final solution volume, which may differ from the amount of diluent added. It cannot verify product identity, solubility, compatibility, preparation technique, or diluent suitability. Check actual equipment readability separately; the peptide dosage calculator graphic does not establish that a volume can be measured reliably.
Beyond the peptide dosage calculator: related planning tools
Compare final volumes
The final-volume planner extends the peptide calculator arithmetic: final volume equals desired U-100 markings divided by 100, multiplied by total mass, then divided by target mass. Each optional comparison uses its own volume. Supply a container limit yourself. As with the peptide dosage calculator, a calculated scenario is not a physical preparation recommendation.
Open the final-volume planner →Calculate blends and equal portions
For blends, the peptide calculator relationship applies separately to each component: concentration equals component mass divided by shared volume. Draw amount equals that concentration times draw volume. Targeting one component determines the amounts of all others. Equal portions divide mass and volume by the same positive whole number. These peptide dosage calculator companion tools do not establish compatibility or stability.

Count complete portions and leftover mass
The peptide dosage calculator takes the whole-number part of vial mass divided by target mass to count complete portions. Leftover mass equals initial mass minus the mass of those portions. The peptide calculator excludes losses and cannot establish shelf life, sterility, discard dates, or suitability for repeated use.
Open the equal-portion calculator →Understand the supply planner assumptions
The supply companion to the peptide calculator starts the first event on day 1. Events equal plan days divided by interval days, rounded upward; multiply by portions per event for total portions. Required vials equal total portions divided by complete portions per vial, rounded upward. Leftovers are not pooled. A peptide dosage calculator target exceeding one vial yields no vial or cost estimate.
Subtract usable whole vials in stock from required vials, with a minimum of zero. Multiply additional vials by entered price for purchase cost. Price divided by complete portions per vial gives portion cost. Like the peptide calculator, this planner excludes losses and discard limits; costs exclude tax and shipping. Frequency is supplied by you.

Can I save and transfer a calculation?
Choose Save this calculation, give the entry a recognizable name, and manage it under My saved calculations. The peptide calculator saves on your device without automatic account synchronization. Versioned JSON backups transfer entries; valid imports add copies. The peptide dosage calculator rejects invalid or mismatched backups, and each companion tool keeps its own saved configurations.
What should I keep with a result?
Keep the original inputs, selected units, calculation direction, and limitations. Peptide calculator result cards and planner summaries include these details and a creation timestamp. Recheck concentration before reusing an entry for another vial. The peptide dosage calculator output only describes the saved inputs, even if a later product has a similar name.
Does this tool recommend a dose?
No. This peptide dosage calculator has not been clinically validated and does not prescribe, assess individual health, or recommend substances. Use a qualified clinician or pharmacist and your specific product label for preparation and dosing instructions. The peptide calculator provides educational arithmetic, with formulas you can inspect and results you can independently check.
